 Honoring the legacy of Booker T. Washington (“Tuskegee vision”)

Washington Plaza is an affiliate of LIVING WORD CHRISTIAN CENTER located in Forest Park, Illinois.  Washington Plaza owns and operates the 13 acre mall, with approximately 100,000 square feet.  The Mall is currently under construction.  We are renovating the entire Mall to bring a new look and hope to the community of Tuskegee and its’ surrounding communities.  The primary goal of the Mall is to provide an economic engine and help revitalize the community.

Washington Plaza is just the beginning of our plans to help revitalize this community.  Our future plans are to expand Washington Plaza, provide other economic engines, educational training in business and vocation.  Also, our plans include building new housing and to assist the community to help rebuild itself.

Currently, existing is Tuskegee Christian Center (TCC) which was founded in 2003 by Pastor Winston as part of his “Tuskegee Vision”, a three-fold plan to revitalize Tuskegee through spiritual and economic development and community empowerment.
